If you can’t get to good food, we want to bring it to you! The Sunshine Food Project has built a Veggie Mobile trailer – a roving farmstand pulled by a pickup truck (or sturdy car) – funded by a Strengthening Neighborhoods grant from The Denver Foundation. We launched the Veggie Mobile at the 2014 Park Hill July 4th Parade and have since used it to deliver fresh, affordable, local and organically-grown produce in North Park Hill and the surrounding neighborhoods. A big Thank You to The Denver Foundation and all of our amazing friends for believing in us and helping us make a difference! See more photos on Facebook. And we’ve been in the news!

Our fundraising campaign to support bike-powered mobile farmstands was completed in Winter 2014. All monies raised were donated to Denver Food Rescue in support of their current project to deliver excess produce from large grocery stores to the Park Hill Boys and Girls Club.
How can you help out? If you’d like the Veggie Mobile trailer to come to your event location, please drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (303) 321-5231. We are also a drop-off location for Produce For Pantries! Bring your extra organically-grown garden produce to 3435 Albion Street, and look on the front porch for the Produce 4 Pantries sign-in sheet and storage cooler. If you’d like to ride bikes for Denver Food Rescue, contact them at email@example.com or (720) 675-7337.
A big shout out and thank you to our amazing family, friends, volunteers and donors for making the Veggie Mobile a reality:
